Jennifer Lopez 'On The 6' $13.99
Pop-culture history is littered with the wreckage of movie stars who made bad pop records that are, for some reason (hello, William Shatner), usually available only in Japan. If nothing else, with her fluffy, engaging debut, On the 6, Jennifer Lopez has already managed to make the transition from budding movie diva to budding music diva with more conviction than, say, Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Madonna 'Erotica' $12.58
Madonna once said she divided her career into two parts – before the Sex book and after the Sex book. She made this distinction citing the barrage of negative publicity Sex received upon its release in October of 1992. Featuring countless nude photographs of the pop icon and several other celebrities and models, the book explored everything from sadomasochism to group sex. Nothing was taboo as far as Sex was concerned, but many equated the book more with pornography than art and deemed its content too steamy for mainstream America. This time, many felt Madonna had gone too far. Coinciding with the release of Sex was Erotica. It was Madonna's sixth album of new material and, although it went double platinum and spawned several hit singles, its critically acclaimed musical achievements were eclipsed by the scathingly negative reviews of Sex and the album's own overtly erotic themes.

Mariah 'Rainbow' $13.99
There are several moments on Mariah Carey's latest album that make you do a double-take: She covers Phil Collins' 'Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)' with alarming sincerity; she matches lyrical flow with everyone from Jay-Z to Snoop Dogg, while relegating Usher and 98 Degrees to back-up duties; then she kicks off her mules and spreads out in a rather suggestive position in the middle of the CD booklet, while lamenting her current emotional problems on the back.
