Note:You do not need to have a web hosting account with us in order to register a domain name. However, certain country-specific domain names, such as .hk (Hong Kong), .it (Italy), and .in (India) require the assignment of an IP address before registration is authorized.

General Information

We can host any valid domain name extension (for example, .com, .net, .org and country-specific extensions as well).

Domain names ending in .com, .net or .org cannot exceed 67 characters (including the extension). The only valid characters are numbers, letters and the "-" (dash). The "_" (underscore) is an invalid character for a domain name.

If you wish to use our domain name registration service, we charge US$ 15 per domain name per year (.com, .net, .org, .us, .info, .biz, .name). Multi-year registration discounts available. Our registration services include URL Redirection and Email Forwarding.

Alternatively, you may use any other domain name registration provider you prefer, such as Network Solutions or Register.com. But if you wish to have your domain name hosted on our servers, then make sure to modify the Domain Name Servers (DNSs) associated with your new domain name. You should change your DNSs to the ones we list further below. We can help you with this if needed.

New China (.cn) Domain Name Registrations

We can register your own .cn, .com.cn, .net.cn, and .org.cn domain names for US$ 40 per domain name per year. (Significant discounts for multi-year registrations.) Registration includes URL Redirection and Email Forwarding.

If you intend to use one of the other .cn domain name registration providers AND if you wish to have your .cn domain name hosted on our servers, then make sure to modify the Domain Name Server (DNS) settings associated with your .cn domain name. Transferring a Domain Name / Hosting a Domain Name on our Servers / Domain Name Servers (DNS) Info

When transferring a domain name to our systems (or when hosting a domain name on our servers), you will need to update the DNS info associated with your domain. We can help you with this if needed. Our DNSs are as follows:


Primary Server Hostname: NS.DNSBIN.NET

Secondary Server Hostname: NS2.DNSBIN.NET
Secondary Server Netaddress: 209.150.135.57

Typically, there exists a 24 to 48 hour propagation delay before such DNS modifications take effect. This propagation delay is completely outside of our control. Therefore, when transferring/modifying DNS info, you should always wait at least 24 to 48 hours after you have made your modification request before cancelling your previous hosting account.
